Production has begun on COLLAR OF DUTY

July 14, 2016

SUMMERHILL MEDIA INC. is pleased to announce that production has begun on COLLAR OF DUTY, an original 12-part documentary series for Animal Planet Canada. Airing this winter, the entertaining and inspired series explores service animals and the life-changing impact they have on the humans they assist. SUMMERHILL MEDIA is also thrilled to be partnering again with Viasat World, who plans to broadcast the series in spring of 2017 on Viasat Nature.

“We are thrilled to be working with Discovery Canada, specifically Animal Planet Canada on a series which covers a topic that is timely and transcends politics, culture and economic status, offering a half hour of entertainment that showcases the important relationships that humans have with their service animal companions. We are pleased that the series will have great exposure through Viasat Nature.”  Laura Lillie, EP Summerhill Media Inc.

The brand new series is proudly produced by SUMMERHILL MEDIA INC by Creator and Executive Producer Laura Lillie. Executive Producer, Ryan Lussing, of Yellow Bear Studios brings digital strategy to the project. For Animal Planet, Edwina Follows and Heather Williamson are production executives.
